Look at all the people that don’t think women are capable of terrible things.

Not to mention all of the people that don’t realize that practically all of modern society would grind to a halt without all of the men doing the nuts and bolts jobs that hold everything together. Just about every piece of modern infrastructure is maintained by a majority-male workforce.

One of these even thinks they will manage to travel by air to a foreign country! Without mentioning all of the other relevant tasks, 10% of air traffic controllers are female, 4% of pilots are female, and less than 3% of airplane mechanics are. Good luck hitting that lottery, and when you do, that that flight is going where you want to go.

Interesting, I hadn’t seen that article. I got the majority quote from http://www.unodc.org/unodc/en/human-trafficking/global-report-on-trafficking-in-persons.html which states:

According to the Report, the most common form of human trafficking (79%) is sexual exploitation. The victims of sexual exploitation are predominantly women and girls. Surprisingly, in 30% of the countries which provided information on the gender of traffickers, women make up the largest proportion of traffickers. In some parts of the world, women trafficking women is the norm.

I notice now what I didn’t then that it says 30% of the 155 countries surveyed, so it’ll likely vary from country to country. Sickeningly enough a lot of the traffickers were victims only allowed to leave if they promised to bring back more victims. Rough stuff all around.

read an account from someone who worked with anti-trafficking organizations who said women traffickers are more difficult to prosecute, because they need much more evidence to convict them of the same crime as male traffickers. juries just aren’t willing to believe that women are just as capable of horrendous things as men are

so in psychology class we got to learn why foot fetishes are so prevelant! basically your brain stores the structural information for your body generally in the correct order (i.e. the info for your ears is stored next to the info for the head, which is stored next to the neck, etc.) BUT. The info for the feet is stored right next to the info for the genitalia and so sometimes these two sections of information can overlap and make you wanna lick some toes

if you’re offline or away and i message you something (like a link to a meme or a picture or w/e) honestly just assume that i’m just leaving it there for when you get back and not expecting you to answer straight away. i don’t need you to respond with “hey, sorry, i wasn’t at the computer!” or anything. i was leaving u a gift for later.

This also applies if you’re online and just don’t want to or have the energy to deal with humans in the moment. Just because we have the ability to reply in real time does not mean we have the obligation.
